The coaches will work it out. The PF spot is wide open with 3 rookies vying for the spot. May the next all-star win!

    @topic

I think D-Mo should start, he fits better with Asik since he has range.

Robinson can go all high energy with the bench.

Obviously the ultimate goal here is for Thomas Robinson to be the starting PF, but is he handed a starting job? Especially after Donatas Motiejunas and Terrence Jones have been paying their dues in the developmental league? I would not be at all surprised if Robinson starts out in the developmental league.

I will be surprised if Carlos Delfino is the starter, but I expect him to be the finisher, and to probably be #5 on the team in minutes/game from here on out.

DMo seems like a fan favorite, but I still believe Terrance Jones deserves some major playing time.

anybody know what did Tjones do or not do to not getting any PT lately?? He got all the tools to be successful as a rox, he just needs experience.. I would develop him over Dmo at the 4..

Would not shock me to see Parsons come off the bench eventually. I expect Robinson and Royce to pan out. Lin, Harden, Royce, Robinson, and Asik start.
Doubt royce will get there until next year though.

OK, that poll is just ridiculous. Anyone still voting for Robinson obviously did not watch Morey or McHale's interviews today.

Robinson doesn't deserve the starting spot anymore then d mo, smith or t jones. OK Robinson was picked 5th but he has looked horrible. d mo or t jones are just as talented as Robinson. D mo was supposed to be a top 5 pick and so was Jones their draft stocks happened to slip but their talent had never been in question.
What do you guys see besides Robinson being a top five pick that indicates he will ever be better then d mo or t Jones.

Superior athleticism. Also, Robinson has shown some talent for post moves. More than DMo. There's no comparing the talent levels - Robinson is head and shoulders above.
I like DMo but he should be an end of rotation guy on a good team, not your starter.

You have never seen Robinson or d mo play. Robinson has no post game while d mo already has polished moves. Robinson 6-7 or 6-8 d mo legit 7 footer. you lost all credibility when you said Robinson has shown a post game.

Ha, some say it is so. You can check out my documentary in my signature if you'd like to know more about my connection to Pakistan. Bohat bohat shukria mayrbani. Ap urdu samushtaho? I know about 200-300 words.

I've seen highlights that showed his post game. He's pretty good at making quick moves the second he touches the ball.

Lol watch him in college. The guy has great footwork. Much better than DMo.
He is a work in progress but he definitely has good moves down low.
You really think DMo has polished post moves? He telegraphs every move he makes. Unless you're Dwight Howard that won't work.

I am not going to speak for nextup but he may have meant no "back to the basket" game which is often referred to as a low post game. Robinson plays much more facing the basket. So yeah, he does not have much of a post game.

So Smith starts the game, gets 4 fouls in 4 minutes and sits until the second half, where he gets the remaining fouls to remove him from the game?

He was picked by the Kings. They are amazingly talented in mis-using talent; specifically young first year talent. The Kings are most likely the worst team in the league to be playing for right now with how their FO is running things. There has been a bottle neck at his position in Sacramento that has lead to terrible minutes. You could say Dmo is in the same boat, but I would characterize European pro-ball vs college ball as vastly different levels of experience. We needed a more physically dominant PF, which is why we weren't going to rest on Patterson. He had good bench quality wing value on offense, but a liability on defense. Robinson offers a much more physical option with a ton of upside, while Dmo has yet to show much of any defensive presence. Dmo has his place on the team, but he hasn't flashed anything to make me think he deserves to be a starter anywhere.

BTW I prefer t Jones over d mo and Robinson. Robinson's game will be hard to translate to the NBA, he really struggles finishing around the basket. With the combination of skills size and athleticism Jones has the most potential.
