I know, that one was so laughable I didn't even want to touch it.

Krauthammer is a total hack, always has been in my book. He's one of these armchair realpolitik chickenhawks who like to talk tough about foreign policy like they're Lord Metternich at the congress of vienna. Easy to be pro-war while telecommuting from Alexandria every day.

    Er...what?

Re. speculation, yeah, maybe, if you don't want to believe what anyone says re. Iraqi oil production....or if you think OPEC acts for no particular reason.

As for the 'what does it matter', you're correct. The other country's lowering production doesn't matter, except as an indicator that Iraqi oil has started flowing in appreciable amounts.

    1. Oil's flowing, baby. Sorry it's not what you want to hear. Sorry, the liberals message that not one drop of oil is coming out of Iraq has been exposed for what it is.

    2. Pure, unadulterated speculation? Laughable. There is no other stimulus that could prompt OPEC to cut production. Nice shift of your point, though. Now it doesn't matter, because the price is the same? Sam you're killing me.

    1. Now you are entering joke poster phase again, responding to exposure with denial....credibility subsiding...fading....gone.

    2. Guess what: Russia, Canada, Norway among others are not even in OPEC. When they increase production, it lowers the price of oil. Other stimuluses affect the price as well as Iraq. this is undeniable.

I suggest you read the studies available online at Rice University's Baker institute to understand Iraq's oil reserves in comparison

BTW, How many times do I have to tell you that Iraq is in OPEC for you to get it? Oh, forget it, you'll just ignore it anyway.

Sam you are good at giving me a jovial chuckle. I have a deep understanding of what moves oil prices. Deeper in fact than your googled knowledge you just tried to spew at me. OPEC lowered its production quotas due to the oil that will be coming out of Iraq in larger quantities. This means the reconstruction effort is progressing.

I just find it hilarious that SamFisher is arguing about oil when less than a week ago, he didn't even know that Iraq was in OPEC. That's right -- LESS THAN ONE WEEK AGO, SAM FISHER DID NOT EVEN KNOW IRAQ WAS IN OPEC. Now you are attempting to correct people's statements regarding the oil industry?

    What a joke.
