WHY you're blaming and name-calling ME on this ?? I did not even post on this thread....yet, as I don't buy what that reporter from Zhongqing Morning Post said about Yao Ming and TMAC are at odds at each other.....

It is pure speculation and BS on that reporter's part. That is why you don't see me translate, post or comment on this article.

Hey man... ''RocketForever'', yup, that might be who you actually are as who you actually call yourself. But unlike you, almost people in China care about the Rockets is truely becoz of Yao. I know its hard for you to believe that and I cannot find the evidence to show you that recently, but you can find out the truth if Yao leave the team, see how those ridiculous chinese media will do, they will suddenly forcus on the team Yao arriving for sure.

See what happens Yi coming to NBA...

Finding excuses? I don't think so. If anything, the Chinese fans are tougher on Yao and want him to do much better.

I have this sneaky suspicion that after two great threads of five stars (both fan reports for the Clippers game), you are attempting to bring the BBS to a more average level by posting nonsense.

Haha. Exactly! In fact, they're probably closer now than they've ever hoped to be. ;)

I have decided not to respond to you anymore but I just can't help it. Alright, I hope it makes you feel better about yourself now after you have condemned your own people for being what... selfish? Let's see, 80% of them had never followed the NBA before. Then five years ago their best basketball player became a player of the Houston Rockets and therefore most of them follow the Houston Rockets now. Big surprise to you, huh? So if these Chinese fans were not that selfish, they would have chosen to follow the other NBA teams in which they didn't even know one single player's name, right?

Know what? You should really think before you badmouth your own people again next time.

Wanna know why I know this is a false story?

Because the post game interview on the court after the game they grabbed TMac and he said he was telling Yao to calm down and focus, and not worry about how he was struggling in the previous 2 games.

That came out of Tmac's mouth. Whoever made up that story is a garbage writer.

OK errr, this has to be a top candidate for worst thread of the year.

Shame on whoever published this story, and shame on the poster(s) responsible for posting it on this board.

Have you forgotten about the thread "YAO SIGHTING AT HIS HOUSE (pics included)" already? That was the worst thread bar none.

Anyone in his right mind would know this is definitely not true.
Yao is a center, if anyone thinks he is making too much shooting attempts, then they would just stop throwing the ball to him.
Those who think T-Mac is selfish should take a look at his assist number in his stat sheet!
So, just relax and enjoy our best one-two punch in the league while it lasts.

You seem to be extraordinarily naive or just oblivious. Let me explain it to you. One calls another YOF to accuse them of being a fan of only Yao, and not the Houston Rockets. The connotation behind that is that this person is from China, and thus not American/Texan, and "what the hell are these chinks doing here? Go back to China, fools, and eat your rice there, not here! Don't mess with Texas!"

One calls another a YOH to accuse them of having an extraordinary hatred towards Yao. Usually these are morons like Charley Rosen. The connotation behind this is that if you hate Yao, you probably hate or are prejudiced against Chinese people in general (looking at some of the early articles circa 2002 draft about Yao, this is the case with many reporters), and thus you are a flaming racist and have a white cloak and hood in your closet.

I'm neither. I belong to a community of Rockets fans... we have a nice niche in the world of the internet... what I am a big fan of is teamwork, chemistry, and camaderie... Yao Ming is the second coming of the Houston Big Man... no one in this community can call themselves a ROckets fan and a "hater of Yao" in the same phrase

so which one are you Anthrax? both of your scenarios present awful connotations of racism that you have seemed to pull out of thin air... who's calling anyone chinks around here? it seems these members would be banned... I certainly wouldnt tolerate it

can you find anyone calling anyone else this in a thread?

All I see is a bunch of silly abbreviations

Nah, u got to know, u r not the representative of the voice of 1.3 billion chinese people. It is true that Yao had "lead" many Chinese get to know Rox, but Yao is not the reason why Chinese like Rox. It is true that if Yao leaves the Rockets, fans will move with Yao, but wherever he is, it is the team that Chinese fans like and Yao's domination is only a part of the team. He might be the reason why many people watch rockets when they first learned what basketball is, but he's not why Chinese fans like this team. Chinese fans want to see a dominant performance from Yao every night, but in reality, most Chinese fans of the Rox trust more in Tracy, and u should know this. So stop talking trash. I hate it when people think they know everything and afraid to apologize when they do wrong things. I have only 2 words for u, **** off
