We play the Jazz really good up until the fourth quarter and then we let them score 32 points on us?! And we let the Jazz shoot almost 57%?! Rudy definitely need to start stressing defense with this team. Or else, we are a lot worse off than I thought. Plus, what the heck is wrong with Hakeem?! I heard that he went off his asthma medicine and quit using his anti-inflamatories. Why would he quit using it, if he knows its necessary for him to be effective?

I said the same thing in an earlier post, except that I said our defense sucks.

This team is giving up, they are working on lottery positioning.

On Dream's medication: He stopped taking the anti-inflammatories because he suspects they were the cause of his bronchospasm in the first place. He stopped taking the bronchospasm medication because it made him too nauseous. So he's hoping to heal naturally.

On our defense: yes, it sucks.

So, since the Rockets lose to the division-leader, on the road, without their 2nd-best player, and play close for 3 quarters, they're 'giving up'? What did you think was going to happen, DaDakota?

    Freak,

What I mean by giving up, is that you are not playing the players that give you the best chance to win.

Rudy has gone to his youth to finish games. I agree this is a good strategy as we are going nowhere this year. However, if you were really trying to win, you would have Hakeem out there...you would have TMass out there ( He is completely healed now you know)

It is clear the Rockets are positioning themselves for the lottery.

I would take Kenyon Martin in a heartbeat, even with the injury.

PS. By the way precedent for Rudy and staff doing this before, abounds in the Rockets history.

However, if you were really trying to win, you would have Hakeem out there

We had Hakeem out there against the Suns and he managed to blow a point-blank layup in the final seconds. I'd rather have Cato out there, since he's a better garbage player than Hakeem, and plays are not going to be run for Hakeem.

    Shanna,

Hakeem was only out there because Cato was in foul trouble.

Hakeem is just disinterested right now.

The only problem is now the Mavs, Nugs, Hawks, Celts and few others are really starting to compete for loses too. We lost a lot of ground with a couple of recent wins, especially the OT one.
