Philadephia pronounces Iverson is their answer to their championship aspirations, and obviously Francis is Houston's, but is Stevie enuff?

Raise your hand if you think the Rocks need another star on our team besides Franchise. Look at how dominating Lakers and Portland have been recently, in their own conference. They stand in the way, and they all have more than one STAR(not female heypard) By nook or crook, Francis needs another star to help hi m carry this team into the champ glory.

Anyone think Mobley, Anderson, KT are gonna develope into stars? Not likely. Best they will be is role players. If the Rocks want to seriously contend sometime soon for the title, we need a real gem from the draft or a really big trade.

    Questions, complaints, concerns, arguments, MONEY?

Iff no one responds ill just assume im right. [IMG]

If the Rockets had any sense they would pull Eric Meeks out of Europe and put him as the starting 4. He would bring the size and strength (as well as scoring punch they need). He has a much better overall game than Kenyon Martin could ever dream about.

Steve alone is not enough to win a championship. Mobley is a very interesting player but will never be the top 2 guards, because of the size. Rockets have no legit 3 player. Rogers is very good can be a contributer on any team. Cato is nice blocker, but for 49 million is not worth it.

I think Mobley will be a star within the next year or two, but I also think the Rockets need a star at the 3 or 4 position. Cato won't dominate offensively, but wouldn't need to if we had a forward that could fill it up. I suppose KT could develop into a star, but that remains to be seen as well. I really don't think Rogers will be a star, but I think he is an extremely valuable role player that I would hate to see go. IMO the ovbious place we need another star is SF. Big surprise, huh? If by draft or trade, we could add an offensively dominating SF with just adequate defense and rebounding, without giving up Cato, Rogers, Mobley or KT, I think we would be extremely competitive.

Mobley is shorter than most two-guards, but he has some long arms. They look like long and skinny tree limbs. That makes up a little for his height. I think he can cause as many (or more) problems than he will have, even when playing bigger guards. I just hope we can keep him.

I agree with what Moe and Caveman(Yes, CAVEMAN!! ooga booga) posted.

Traj, do you seriously think Mobley's wingspan makes up for his height? I'm sure it helps, but if tall 2 guards post up on him it wont make a whit bit of difference.

Smeg, the question: what the hell is Smeg doing here? [IMG]

cmon lotto, Crisco needs a new pair of good players ...
