Since Mo Talyor acted like Mo of the 3 stooges and hurt himself, we should pick up Otis Thorpe! We need rebounds anyways!

Thorpe is to old, he just turned 39. He is unbelievably injury prone, and has only played like 15 minutes a game the last couple of years, and his production has dipped severely. The Rockets are better off going after McCoy, who would be more productive, with more upside, and healthier and younger.

Otis has the best full court pass out of all them. Remember the good old days?? Where's Carl Herrera now?

Geez, I thought it was the scarecrow that didn't have a brain :)

The key word there being old. Thorpe will never regain a shadow of what he did back in Houston. Mason, White, and McCoy each have productive years left in them...Isn't James Worthy still available??

Isn't Herrera originally from the Virgin Islands or something?

Otis is taking the year off working on his passing so he can earn a roster spot with the Texans next year.

Man, Otis's long passing abilities were part of countless fast breaks back in the day. At least he passes the ball and plays in the paint, unlike Playground Mo Taylor. At least OT doesnt' play 'CLIPPER D'.

    Okay, I'll play...

OT doesn't belong in this group b/c he's the only one that has proven himself in this league...

Yeah and mabey we could also coax kevin Mchale out of reiterment. He was solid in his day. what is George Mikan doing? I know he was a center when he played but I think he could make the transition.

No, I think Thorpe shouldn't be on there because he should have retired 3 or 4 years ago.

Hard to play 'CLIPPER D' when you don't play at all anymore.

If by the Virgin Islands you mean Venezuela, then yes.

If you watched the Charlotte Hornets vs Bucks series, you noticed that OT played some good minutes.

At least OT doesn't tear his achilles in pick up games or is called 'soft'. He'd bring some veteran leadership to the squad. Glen Rice isn't known as a leader.

Oh my ******* god. You're using a completely freak injury, in a situation where Mo was trying to better his own game, to downgrade Mo Taylor's physical toughness and to give credit to Otis Thorpe? That is sad.

well, its true, isn't it? he tore his achilles. no what ifs. If Mo Taylor ends up being like Kevin Johnson than that sucks for the Rockets. Otis is still a durable player and I bet he's a cheap pickup. Why not have a Rocket Hero retire a Rocket and mentor Eddy Griffin? I'd rather have Otis be the mentor, he's a champion and he plays a good inside game.

Kenny, Vernon, OT, Horry, Dream ->Heroes
