Credit to them for taking care of business and Tressel has a huge set of minerals on him. What a call. But, Purdue is 4-6. On a normal week, if a top 3 team beats an under .500 team by only 4, they would lose votes. Any chance UT picks up more of the OU votes in the polls?
That's the best 4-6 team I've seen in awhile....they lose by 2 to Iowa, 4 to Ohio State....6 losses by a combined 26 points
I'm still not sold on Ohio State. They've taken advantage of a cream-puff schedule which is what your supposed to do. They just dont seem that good to me. Miami, Texas and Oklahoma would kill them.
IMO, there seems to be only two major conference schools that don't have the chance to give a team a game: Baylor and Kansas
Northwestern? UT @ Tech should be interesting. It's a 2:30 start. Thank God for that. STranger things seem to happen at Tech during the night.
Ya know, it was a great call. But did anybody notice the offensive pass interference? It was pretty obvious. He jush pushed to Purdue player away to create space.
Yep. If it had gotten called, OSU loses and we say what an idiot Tressel is. I think 95% of the coaches in America would have gone for a run up the middle on 4th and inches. But, they play worked, and he's a genius.
ISU lost to K-State, OU, and Texas....yeah...."fading".... ISU is certainly struggling, but I'm not sure about fading. What's of concern for them is not the losing - but the total domination. VaTech is more "fading".
Virginia Tech is fading, mainly because of their best player being out, but they should still be undefeated.
NYK, what would you call it? They certainly look less sharp and less explosive. Competition is one thing, but maybe they were overrated in the beginning. They went from beating Iowa and nearly beating FSU to losing by 50 to a two loss KSU team.
