I remember reading somewhere that his teammates in the locker room didn't like him or something. Not that he got into fights or what not, but that he was more of a follower and loner than a leader or a lightning rod for his team. Maybe that is what is happening in Denver as well?
Orton is basically a career backup. He's not bad, but not very good either. Denver should be grooming someone young with potential, but they are stuck with Tebow.

If a dumbed-down offense can make you go 30-17 as a starter in the NFL, I can't fault the QB or team for that. All that matters is moving the chains. If the QB can keep drives alive with his feet, it counts the same as a throw or running play. Though odds are against Tebow, not saying he won't EVER have success. Just for NOW for sure Orton gives them the better chance.
