I'm currently in a Yahoo League and a Message appears saying XXX number of teams have dropped Jason Maxiell.

Is there a reason for this or is everyone just following the crowd? I find it odd since he hasn't had a bad game and I haven't heard anything about him losing playing time. If anybody knows anything regarding this please reply, thank you. :)

I took Maxiell in 2 of my drafts in the later rounds based on the ravings of 2 friends who are Pistons fans, and they don't know each other; both are eagerly awaiting Maxiell's season in much the same light that Rocket fans are anticipating Scola
The one I'm hoping pays off is Milsap

Maxiell will do good if Webber doesn't come back. Right now Mcdyess is starting at 4 but Maxiell should get solid minutes.. I think he's good and got a nice offensive game.

Millsap is in the same boat, but even though he has 3 very solid Bigs ahead of him in Utah (kirilenko, boozer, okur), he's already guaranteed DECENT minutes. The big thing is, if one of the Bigs go down, Millsap is in for a big season. And we all know how injury prone the Jazz frontcourt is...

Thats what I thought also. I was surprised that he's been dropped so often. He's been putting up starting numbers, and I could see him in the starting line-up with Mcdyess off the bench. As far as Milsap, he's guaranteed some minutes, but the sleeper for that team is Brewer. Check out his stats, he's been solid. It seems like he won the starting role.
