I'm talking outside of everything that everyone else has threads on...
We still have problems that are obvious I'm not mentioning here, but I just wanted to point this out...

Am I the only one that see these open lanes that the Rockets aren't taking? In other words, am I the only one who sees Rockets passing up the opportunity to beat just ONE man for a drive-in layup?

I see Yao doubled. This way, at least one of the other players have an open lane.

Many times, I see an open lane for whoever has the ball in his hands but he passes up the opportunity.

I am totally confident that ALL of our players are efficient enough to beat ONE man to the basket. I've only seen Shane and Lowry try to beat his man for a lay-up in that situation and they are successful in either getting a foul or the 2 points. Scola just posts up and backs down his man, but can't really beat him. Everyone else should realize this and drive in for a probable foul.

    Am I wrong?

Yao's being sandwiched, it's not exactly easy to make crisp passes into the lane being double teamed, you can't really blame yao for turning the ball over so much, yao should pass out and re-post deeper in the lane and shoot a fadeaway, mini-hook, or take it up strong and get to the line. yao also seems to be shooting fairly well so the high pick-n-roll with brooks, lowry, or ron would work well. we're gonna own them. we have too much talent and experience.
