Okay, instead of continuing to post in the very long update thread, I decided to start a new one to make the announcment that OOTP is back! Heath has been having some ISP problems and thus has not been able to log on the BBS (except from work). Right now, he has all the information on the "nostalgia" site for OOTP (but this is the 2007 season aka the one that chuck ran). We need people to decide on when to have free agency. I kept getting the feeling that no one knows that OOTP is back, so maybe seeing this new thread will cause people to speak up about free agency. Here is the link, by the way, with the information:
I have changed the OOTP site due to the problems I've had, and it also is a much faster solution for updating. Profiles are still not updated at that site as I have to increase the server space at that site. I will talk with my ISP about this on monday. I can still not access the BBS from home, but FA will be held Tuesday in chat and over e-mail. However I will process the first day/round late monday or tuesday morning, so get your e-mail bids in (through the BBS), Also as I can't check the BBS yet from home it is better for you to mail the talent changes that has occured to the new updated site from the old one. This so I can't start putting in the stuff already. I will also process trades prior to FA and Manny said he would e-mail me all the trades done. Heath, Got started late because of the weather (we have gotten 6 inches of snow so the Internet was down for awhile - go figure), but I am in the process of doing the things we talked about and will send you separate emails on each one.
Okay, Heath, just sent you 9 emails - it should be everything you requested. Please let me know if it isn't. Also, just a reminder to everyone else - send your FA offers by email to Heath (use the BBS to email him) by Monday and any talent changes (or mess-ups) if you want these done early.
Cool, see that Heath has processed the off-season trades and it looks like he has put in the right financial numbers. Also he has fixed those talent errors that have been notified to him. Remember, to check your team's ratings report from the old site (the users1.) and compare it to the new site - the harvard.trollnet site. If you find any discrepancies on any of your players, let Heath know.
He knows about that. He was one of the players that cannot be bid on in free agency. The longer thread has a list of players, by the way, that cannot be bid on. At any rate, the only way to fix that is to let those players be free agents and either make sure that the teams they are supposed to be on are the ones with the only bids on them or let computer teams sign them and then Heath will release them or trade them to their rightful teams.
Okay, Heath ran the first day of free agency and uploaded to the new site. Please check it out and adjust your bids accordingly by emailing new offers to Heath (if you hadn't PMed him last night in chat). I believe the plan is for him to continue FA tonight starting at 5:30 p.m. (if that is not the right time, someone speak up and correct me). I can't say for 100% sure that he will finish it tonight, but I think that is the plan. Depending on if he finishes it tonight or not will dictate when the draft will be. I recommend that Heath set a time for the draft and if you can't make it, to send a list to him or someone else who will be there or have your draft autoed.
Cool, I've been checking in occasionally waiting for the league to get started again. Took a look at the team pages and I think I'd like to take the Phillies if possible, solely because of Hamels of course.

Well, I still have that address, but realized that this was the first time I have checked it in months. So I went ahead and changed my email in my profile to the email I use more often. I got the emails that you and Buck sent me and I'll take a better look at the rest of my team tonight and then email you guys back from my other account later on tonight or tomorrow.
