When Mobley comes back, Mooch should be on the bench in the 4th quarter. He is a change of pace PG, a guy who can give you a good spurt of energy. But he just isn't good enough or dominating enough to take you over the top in the 4th. Teams can simply sag off him and wait for him to pass the ball. He is a non-factor running the offense. If you were the other team, would you rather have Francis or Moochie be the PG?
I would like to see BOKI get a chance to play. I have heard that he hasnt been too got to RUDY but I still want to see how he fairs playing. I mean, I heard so many positive things about him when we drafted him, and how good our draft was with Yao and Nachbar, but where is Nachbar? I so badly want to see him get 10+ min, and see how he does.
Yeah but Rudy likes to go with Moochie down the stretch. Maybe he likes how Moochie runs the point better than Francis, because it sure isn't his scoring ability or defense. I hope he sticks with Mobley and Francis from now on.
Moochie appears to be better at setting up the offense so the team passes it more to the open guy. smoother running offense.
i dont care if mooch wins the setting up award of the year, the ball should be in Mobley, or francis's hand down the stretch, and untill Yao shows he can handle it also..not even him( althoug hes provin himself faster than anyone wouldve thot)
If Steve Francis can't set up the offense as well as Moochie Norris, then the Rockets need to move Francis to the 2. It doesn't make sense to start a guy who can't properly run the point. I don't know if you're right, but if you are then the Rockets need a guy like Eric Snow.
I hate these threads.... I bet if Rice has a terrific night...and goes 5for6 from beyond the arc. I will see the hatters talking about how awesome he was and How Rice is sooo Nice.
