    Forgot one of my favs:

    Joey...from Concrete Blond.

Don't even know if it was a "hit," but it got a bunch of MTV airplay. Great CD (bloodletting)

A song that they play all the time during Rocket games (bits and pieces of it) that's also a great one-hit wonder:

    I Can't Wait - Nu Shooz

does anyone remeber that band called "the jets?" I remeber watching some mtv thing on them but had never really heard of them. I bet they were a no hit wonder.

    Also Falco

Rock me Amadeus that was the coolest when I was a kid

I used to think, " that guy is talented. . . listen to what he does with his voice in the beginning":D :D

the answer to the EMF question is LIES. In the video its black and white and the leadsinger is messing with a cockroach.

Also that Jesus Jones album was pretty good. I still have a poster of them with their autographs on it. their second song out was. REAL REAL REAL. but they also released international bright young thing.

I have been extremely busy the last couple of weeks and have had obsolutely no time to check on the BBS but I just saw this topic and had to contribute.

I just skimmed this so it may have been already mentioned but I don't think I saw what I consider the very definition of one-hit wonder:

The Future's So Bright (I gotta wear Shades) by Timbuk-3.

Also Manny, I have EMF's first album and listen to it fairly often. Very underrated album. I believe the second single off of that album was Lies.

dylan and IVFL are right about the EMF question. The song was Lies. Jesus Jones also had a minor follow-up hit to Right Here, Right Now in Real, Real, Real, which actually went to #4.

    The Jets a one-hit wonder?

Not even close when you had songs like the following:

    Crush on You - #3
You Got It All - #3
Cross my Broken Heart - #7
    Rocket 2 U - #6
    Make It Real - #4
