Olympic Torch!

    it's official. just saw it live on TV. it's on top of the world. the team (19 members) consists mostly Tibetans, Han Chinese, and other minority members. it was very cool seeing torch burning at that high. :D

    Currently in Shanghai, I have just finished watching the live coverage of the Olympic torch lighting up on top of Mount Everest.

    ya, i wonder if i am fit enough to get to that high. it looked harsh there. most people couldn't really talk normal.

    Thats awesome!! I'm glad it was a group mostly consist of Chinese minorities. Maybe foreign media will find a way to turn this around too. ;)

    I'll make it worthwhile.

    Great achievement but did the PRC really have to shut down the whole mountain to do it?

    I don't agree that the torch run is worthless but it has turned into something much less than the triumphal tour the PRC had wanted to.
