Bullsh!t. He got convicted by an all white jury. The odds of him being guilty were around 99% even before the trial started. This poor man can't get a break. OJ was just trying to get his rookie card back that that the evil man stole from him.
I was in Romania for work, I was able to watch the entire game - although I did have to get up at 4:00 am to do so. I called home to say Hi, and found out that I could watch the game, but my family in Houston was watching OJ. So I was in Romania, doing play by play for my husband.
Not only was it all white but there was something like 9 women and only 3 men. Dude was doomed from the begining.
The irony of it is that his acquittal for the murders was such a racially divisive decision, that although at the time I think the racism was way overblown in order to get him off, I certainly think it's likely that he couldn't get a fair shake from a lot of white people now.

OJ's 1st trial was a significant demonstration of progress 40 yrs prior . . .he would not have gotten a trial [See Emmit Till] He simply would have been drug out of the jail and lynched .. pure and simple and that was before the verdict . . . the resulting 'hard feelings' afterwards .. . . makes me think. . . no so much progress the inability of some to accept it. like they have asked others to do for so long . .. making me think . . that the 'get over the injustice' mentality is not meant them it is only meant for OTHER PEOPLE That has nothing to do with my thoughts on his guilt Rocket River . . time to goto the D&D
Honestly, OJ had no chance with an all white jury. Regardless of how it went down, he was going to be found guilty either way. But hey, that is our system.
The only topper would have been for one of the white jury members to give the white power salute like one of the black jury members did last time.
