    They have. He's taken mucho infield practice in ST and in AAA and he is by all accounts not good.

    Ah yes, Jason Castro. Our 1B who has never played the position before, and has a .481 OPS against lefties.

    I probably would've just used Bregman at 3rd and let the pitcher hit.

    How would it work if you "give up the DH"? Does the pitcher bat?

    Hadn't heard this. Oh well. This is a bad position to be in to have to use Castro a 1b.

    Very tough to do with a 3 man bench.

    Nobody can explain that, as far as I've seen. He is not a tolerable MLB 1B by all accounts.

    Fister is a .158 career hitter if we get desperate. Almost as good as Castro.

    Yes. It's like when the Giants gave up the DH to let Bumgarner hit earlier this season vs Oakland. Pitcher bats in the spot of the DH
