No doubt, what is wrong with Ensberg, lately. I know his shoulder is a little tender, but he has been dropping faster than the Dow Jones.

Eric Bruntlett should be the everyday 3B... I don't care how great Ensberg's glove is.

Are you being sarcastic, because that is not a bad idea, at least until Ensberg is completely healthy.

Lol. Apparently the Bruntlett supporters didn't learn their lesson from that Everett/Bruntlett survivor of offensive ineptitude from a few weeks back.

The guy is literally approaching Boki Nachbar/Chuck Hayes/Malik Badianne status... apparently this BBS LOVES these types of players.

Well, atleast it looks like Preston and Adam are starting to "heat up".

Bullpen blows another one...great job by Qualls......NOT !

And NOW Garner comes to get him...LOL...Garner has not exactly excelled at pitching changes this year.

I would have brought in Lidge at that point.

    Terrible 3-2 pitch by Qualls.

Its been awhile since anybody here could say "bullpen blows another one..." I know you guys were just ITCHING to say it.

Anyways, with a win today, they would have had a chance to go within a 1/2 game of the WC lead... barring a 9th inning comeback, they'll have to settle for 1 1/2 back, with Roger starting the season for this next series.

did we just drop 2 of 3 at home to a team without a single decent player?

Well if you look at this way and swap a KC loss with a Chicago win, then we won both of those series and 4 in a row. But if you want to get all technical then we still have won 3 out of our last 4 series including a sweep. And since the 6th the team's been a healthy 9-3. Nothing to complain about really.
