Nope - too much going on here, unfortunately. Hoping to come down sometime early in July, but it all depends on how busy I am with coffee shop work - we open in less than 2 months now!
The Astros are back in the thick of things. Currently, in second place in the Wild Card and only a game and a half behind Wild Card leader Cincinnati.
Its like the Astros are already at a disadvantage when they face their former pitchers because they KNOW they should be able to hit these guys... and thus they'll start pressing, and having horrible AB's because they feel that the ball can fly after every swing (notice Berkman having terrible AB's against Elarton and Suckworth). But, as you said, Burke wasn't with the team when those two guys were at their sucktitude peak. EDIT: Wilson wasn't with the team either...
pettitte should have been swinging last inning with runners on the corners and no outs. no reason to give them a free out there. you trade a double play for a run in a split second in this type of game. came back to bite garner like he deserved.
Holy **** Andy's wheels have come off. God damn 8 wins and 30 losses on the road KC is looking like a competiter against us.
I hope Roger has some advice for Andy..cause right now Andy fluxuates between mediocre and just plain awful.
