lol, here goes the bully trying to get others banned for talking baseball. You have NOT talked baseball SIR, only complaining. This is a conversation on Devenski, should we use him more? He showed today what i've been saying for a long time now, he is good and should be use to help the team and not only to help the bullpen when they are over used. Sorry, thats my opinion
Houston Astros relief pitcher's innings pitched (as relievers): Will Harris - 31 Michael Feliz - 30.2 CHRIS DEVENSKI - 30.1 (all the others) When adding in Devenski's starter innings only Keuchel, Fister, Fiers and McHugh have logged more innings. Devenski fills an extremely valuable job and does it extremely well.
If by SAC FLY you mean Sacrifice Bunt on squeeze play then ok...same difference to you I suppose. Do you actually watch the games?
Perfect, for you Cabrera vs Neshek is a good matchup, ok My friend, the change up by Devenski is a killer, difficult to make any kind of contact, including a bunt. And if you expect the change up, then a fastball of 93-94 comes to you
Ok, you believe that Devenski is used correctly by saving the bullpen, i prefer him to be saving situations in a game, for me he is that good.
Great getting the W and taking the series. The pitching was great. Fiers had his first b2b good outings of the season. Dev closed the door over 3+ innings and racked his first career save. Bottom of the lineup picked up the top. If we can get either playing well, along with good pitching, we'll squarely be in the wildcard hunt... too bad the Rangers are playing so well (especially against us).
What is this bull**** where i open multiple game-thread pages and just see "This message is hidden because cangrejero51 is on your ignore list" every other post. I can barely piece together the baseball talk.
Serious question--at what point does Cocobingos behavior warrant a ban? He truly is disruptive to this forum, constantly hammer posting in multiple game threads and de-railing on topic conversations. Then other people engage with him in his incessant rambling which usually only fans the flames and further derails the threads. I think he means well overall but he's simply too self-absorbed--many posters have tried reasoning with him and explaining his poor Forum etiquette to him but he refuses to listen or can't adjust. The problem has only been getting worse IMO, especially for those coming here hopong to read through coherent baseball conversations about the Astros but instead find 5 posts in a row from him repeating the same obnoxious vitriole in multiple threads. Castor--maybe some insight? Nip a problem in the bud before it really gets out of control...
I think you are right. It has really come to a head, especially recently. I tried several times to comment on his stuff pointing out his troll like antics. i don't truly think he is a troll but it is nonetheless reaching the same means. I will open a discussion with Clutch about it as the decision is ultimately his.
Not that my opinion matters, but, my 2 cents: He's not a troll. He's a passionate fan, and an overly-opinionated foreigner, who may not come from a culture who has the same styles of communication as ours. I certainly objectively understand how he annoys the living hell out of people, but he doesn't personally attack people, no matter how much they antagonize and pick on him. Somebody like him seems to me to be literally exactly what the ignore function is intended for. If not, then what is it for? People choose to continue to b**** about him rather than simply put him, and anybody else who chooses to antagonize him and therefore propagates his incessant posting, on ignore. Banning him would be a pretty weak move, imo.
almost .600 baseball if you take out april! my friends, you guys like to do that with last season's success so just using such innovative logic to this season's struggle.
