Paulino just doesn't have "it" at this point in his career so far. The game is just as much about mental fortitude as it is actually placing your pitches in the strike zone. He's young enough but whether or not he'll get it is another matter entirely.

Paulino only has two earned runs..... he should of been out of that four run inning without giving up a run.

If Pence and Bourn could just play the outfield :(

Well Paulino did himself in somewhat. You can't just blame a gold glover. Please do it Sammy. YES!

Thats back-to-back starts for Paulino done in by errors. He still gave up 6 hits and 4 walks in 5 innings. Thats pretty bad.

I wonder how much longer before they switch him and Moehler.

I'd rather see Moehler stay in the Pen and them DFA Paulino, though I still give him 2-3 more starts before pulling the trigger. Then call up Chacin if he is still pitching well at RR. My hope would be Paulino accepts it and they work him out of the pen at RR.

Yeah I think hes a possible pen guy if he can't find his location, but would need work to do so. Do you think that he would pass through waivers with the explosive sinking fastball he has? I would hope so but if Fernando Nieve was claimed, I'm almost certain Paulino would be as well.
