1-2 in 1 Run games.....0-3 in 2 Run games. Gotta start winning the close games if the team wants to compete in the division. Crappy bullpen + no clutch hitting = 4-9 record.
How ironic. The two things that were supposed to be strengths are our weaknesses so far. And the big question mark to start the season has been, for the most part, the lone bright spot.
that dude is terrible. it did help us, but yea. he was terrible behind the plate and he was even worse at 2nd. i understand that being an umpire can be tough, and from what i hear its really hard to work your way to the majors. but i think a call like west made at 2nd warrants demotion. seriously, you're a MLB umpire and you miss a call like that?
He forgot to bring his seeing eye dog to the park. But we were horrible at stranding runners all series long. See you in Cincinnati next week, hopefully we can get our offense cranking by then.
