I'm hoping we dumped those ugly pinstripe jerseys!!! Or maybe Roy requested the tight white combo, that's probably it.

I actually thought Oswalt looked pretty good tonight. Walking Phillips was costly as was missing his spot on that first pitch to Dunn. Griffey's hit that inning was also a bit flukey.

Yeah, I'm in Dallas so I didn't see any of it -- was just guessing by the box score. Like I said, the Oswalt of much of this season wouldn't have been able to get the three straight Ks in the second inning -- so I was wondering how things turned around so quickly in a negative fashion. :(

I've watched almost every game this season and all of Oswalt's starts. He has definitely looked better going back to his last couple starts before going on the DL. I feel good about what I saw tonight assuming they just took him out for precautionary reasons.

I'm also wondering what is going on with the trade deadline coming up. Rumors are that Tejada is on the block and their are a lot of scouts watching the Astros. I personally don't want to see Oswalt go and don't think it will benefit the team that much. I'd rather trade bats not named Berkman.

Cooper said this weekend that Oswalt would be on a strict pitch count of 90 tonight, so I'm assuming he's fine. As for the rest, very good to hear.

Dude, I told y'all. It was probably Oswalt's prefernce. That's how it works. A pithcer can call what uniforms a team wears when they pitch. I've seen it happen many a times.

Actually before the game they said something about tomorrow there will be new uniforms with NASA logos so they had to use these today. Something like that.

I've watched baseball for years and I've never heard/seen that except for the playoffs. The teams get permission to wear certain uniforms...they keep to a schedule. The uniforms they wore are alternate Saturday uniforms. No one player gets to determine what they wear.

Find me one example from the past 10 years where, in the regular season, a major league baseball player chose the uniform his team wore that day aside from what would be ordinarily scheduled for that team to wear and I'll write "ryan17wagner is the greatest poster on Clutchfans" in my sig.

I am pretty sure that their mothers care what they wear.

Blum is a pimp. He should be getting a lot more recognition on the 4 letter network, if A-rod had 3 homeruns in two days this it would be on a loop all day long.

Nice win for Roy..and Blum is on a tear...One game at a time is appropriate here..

A good friend of mine is a Reds fan and we bet taco dinners..I've won the last two so its triple or nothing if we win the series...Problem is he lives in Tennessee so he'll probably never pay up...
