I think roger puts the team on his broad shoulders and carrys (i.e. wills) them to a victory tonight. Andy has got to give the team a real strong quality start tomorrow night, and hopefully Taylor will follow suit. Calling this series big a week before the trade deadline would be an understatement.

Tonight's starting line-up is pretty weak, but I think 2-4 could spark us just enough to get some runs for the Rocket and hopefully the bully can hold the lead.

 

The fake throw to second on the steal. Why i hate the NL, how do you fall for that? You have Adam Dunn at the plate, and you try to squeeze a run with a cheap steal? Some of these decisions just boggle my mind.

 

This ump is terrible.

So much for the runs....and I just called it I said "Wilson is going to hit into a DP," and sure enough he did Can he be that slow or is he just LAZY !!!!!

 

I said the exact same thing to my fiance right before he did it.

Watching the Stros bat these days is like getting your teeth pulled out one by one. Too bad I still watch most of the games...

Yeah I'm just like you !! People used to not think much about it when I would guess what a batter would do, pop out, hit into the DP, etc....But now I'm like watch this " Pujols is about to hit a HR to win this game, " " Ausmus is going to hit into a DP," " Wilson is going to strike out" now they think I'm psychic ... Yeah too bad we don't have even a decent replacement for him. I'd love to trade him this offseason and get a decent fielding/hitting SS. Don't need to be great at anything, but they need to be decent.

 

Jim Rome needs to call Adam Everett, Chrissy Everitt, right to his face.
