Some of you have gotten completely spoiled. A few years ago, a whole week of games would go like this.

Exactly. A stretch like this was going to happen and this is not even particularly bad. (Hopefully we nip it here) It looks 1000 times worse because of the injuries and the emotions after the trade deadline.
If the worst part of our season is a 20-30 game stretch of .500 ball...then we're in a pretty good place. We'll be ok, folks.
My point is regardless of whether or not we should have made that trade, Bregman himself is having a quality rookie/sophomore season.
Actually it might have in the form of an excited clubhouse. I think some of those guys are seriously deflated after seeing their competition going for it while we did not. Some of them may be wondering if they are going at this alone and Crane doesn't have their back. All it takes is a little bit of doubt to affect the way a couple of players approach the plate which could rub off on others and so on. That is my concern. When healthy we may have enough for a deep run, but not if these guys are deflated.
