Berkman is 3 for his last 26. He's been getting under a lot of pitches recently. He nearly knocked one over the wall in LA but got too much under that pitch as well.

Why do I feel like Longoria will definitely score here?

Real nice strike out pitch there by Lyon. Things weren't looking good for a second.

Can't let them score! Lyon working on EL at 1st.

Does Lyon still have his streak going? Scoreless innings I think it is?

We finally keep the 12-year-old from getting a hit.

Great work by Lyon in that inning.

3 more outs. Not the time to come undone for Lindstrom. This would be a feel-good win for a terrible baseball team.

    Yup.

Also agree with BB - would be a nice win, even if it's only for today.

Now that was a plus defensive play by Manzella.

He doesn't have great athleticism but he has decent fundamentals.

The Rays aggressive running style is Cecil Cooper's wet dream.

    Runner in scoring position now.

The greatest thing about losing is we dont have to hear 'This Town' anymore. Whew. Nice win Myers.

I haven't checked for accuracy but it seems like teams go into slumps or at least lose their next game after playing the Astros.

That probably isn't even true but it seems that way.

I seem to recall it happening to the D'backs, Dodgers and Rockies off the top of my head.

Maybe they lose their edge playing a sorry team. Or maybe I'm just imagining it.
