same as the other lineup thread, but with extra importance. Cat, i want my lineup to look like this -- Raef/White/Magloire Jamison/Mason/Googs Pippen/Mason/Crawford McGrady/Billups Marbury/Pack hopefully Pipp will play passable enough defense to contain Bender. At pf, all star vs all star. of course, this lineup may change depending on what lineup sammy goes with, if i make a trade, or if i change my mind ------------------ .,.·^*'´'|'\..........,.·^*'´¯¯¯'`*^·,...,/|'`*^·-, '|.......'|::\......,·'.....,.·:*:·,......'`i:'|.......| '|.......'|:::|.....;.......':,:::,:·.......';:|.......| '|.......|::;i - ·;i'`:,......¯¯.......,·´|::|.......| '|.......'´.......'|'i:::`*:~·.–·~^*'´: :'|::|.......'`*·-, '|........,.-:^:':'\:'`:;:: :: : : : :: ::;·'i::/`':^·.,......`'i '|..,.:'´:::::::::::'\| '`*^~·:–:·~^*'´..'|/:::::::::'`:^:., | '´:;:::::::::;:-·^*'´.....................`'*^·:;-.....:;·' ....`·;:·'´........................................'`^·:;·´

Celtics going down!!! C -- Haakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon PF - Marcus Camby SF - Shawn Marion SG - Gary Payton PG - Mike Bibby 6th - Stromile Swift (PF) 7th - Aaron McKie (SG) 8th - Tony Battie (C) 9th - Steve Nash (PG) 10th - Ruben Patterson (SF) 11th - George Lynch (F) 12th - Dion Glover (SG) IR: Matt Geiger, Jumaine Jones, Rodney Buford Defense: 3-2 Zone Gameplan: Shawn Marion will prove his worth in the playoffs as his backup is the last of the bench. (I'm not expecting to go deeper than 10 in the playoffs but they are available should the sim find need for them). Stromile Swift is the 6th man of the year and will come first of the bench, but to replace Dream as Camby slides over to C. Then Aaron McKie is the surprise 7th man out. He will come on for Bibby, sliding Payton over to PG, Battie/Nash/Patterson will replace Camby/Payton/Marion when they need resting. This should make this depth chart: C -- Dream, (Camby), Battie PF - Camby, Swift, (Battie), Lynch SF - Marion, Patterson, (Swift), Lynch SG - Payton, McKie, Glover PG - Bibby, (Payton), Nash ------------------ The CC.net NBA Sim Board/Homepage

Size Matters Heath. Lets see what your army of little guards and undersized forwards can do against my tall trees. C - Mourning/Harvey PF - Ratliff/Feick SF - Moiso/Williams/Newman SG - Johnson/Ollie PG - Stockton/Anthony/Herren. That's 4 players 6'9" or taller. I'm considering using this lineup (subject to last-minute revision, of course): C: Tabak PF: Foster SF: Potapenko SG: Bender PG: Hill 6th Man: Sleepy Sam Perkins Defense: intentionally injure Try to match up with that, Crisco! ------------------ I'm so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat in me for a month. OK, I am going back to my original, original lineup: C: Potapenko/Foster/Tabak/Perkins PF: Hill/Bender SF: Bender/Posey SG: Email/Delk PG: Childs/Email/Edney Defense: 2/3 zone That's a 11 man lineup, but I don't want Zan, Sam, or Tyus playing more than spot minutes. Delk, Foster, Posey are my 6th/7th/8th men. When Childs is on the bench, Email slides over to the point and Delk comes in at the 2. Same thing happens with Hill, Bender, and Posey. Under no circumstances is McKey and his 38% shooting to come into the game (put him on the IR with an arthritic hip). ------------------ I'm so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat in me for a month. Ok, you might macth up good with me, but I also know that I did beat you when I didnt go experimental on you. I also have my trees in the game, so that is 3 players over 6'9" vs your 4, and with regards to your 4th I guess I will take Payton over Johnson anyday. ------------------ The CC.net NBA Sim Board/Homepage

This is my backup plan for game 4 if I decide to change between games. C -- Marcus Camby PF - Stromile Swift SF - Shawn Marion SG - Aaron McKie PG - Gary Payton Defense: 3/4 Trap IR: Dream, Glover, Jones Gameplan: McKie as I thought stepped it up in the playoffs and will get the starting job at SG to get his well deserved minutes. Payton will stop Stockton, but will also some time at 2. Bibby will be first of the bench, and then Payton will slide over to take over for McKie, who due to his starting job only will play at the 2. Battie covers for both Camby and Swift, but his main responsibility is backing up Camby who will only play at C as Swift only plays SF. This might open up some minutes for Patterson at 4. Patterson first responibility is to back up Marion at 3 and this might open up some minutes for Lynch at 3 or 4 as Patterson can't be both places at once. But if everything goes according to plan Lynch will get a DNP. Nash will be my 9th man as the last man who gets minutes to speak of. Bell, Lynch and Daniels will be available if needed, but DNP coachs decision is not far away from happening. 6th - Bibby 7th - Battie 8th - Patterson 9th - Nash 10th - Bell 11th - Lynch 12th - Daniels Depth chart: C -- Camby, Battie PF - Swift, Battie, Patterson, Lynch SF - Marion, Patterson, Lynch SG - McKie, Payton, Bell, Daniels PG - Payton, Bibby, Nash ------------------ The CC.net NBA Sim Board/Homepage [This message has been edited by Heath2000 (edited June 21, 2001).]
C -- Marcus Camby PF - Stromile Swift SF - Shawn Marion SG - Gary Payton PG - Mike Bibby Defense: 3/4 Trap IR: Dream, Glover, Bell 6th - Nash 7th - Battie (primary position C) 8th - McKie (G) 9th - Patterson (2nd position PF) 10th - Jones (G/F) 11th - Lynch (F) 12th - Daniels Depth chart: C -- Camby, Battie PF - Swift, Battie, Patterson, Lynch SF - Marion, Patterson, Jones, Lynch SG - Payton, McKie, Jones, Daniels PG - Bibby, Payton, Nash, McKie ------------------ The CC.net NBA Sim Board/Homepage
Its time to shake up the starting lineup a bit. Childs was supposed to provide solid distribution of the ball and good defense. Judging by his 4 assists a game and my scoring average, he has failed offensively. Judging by the fact that Marbury is dropping 20 and 10 on him, his defense isn't much, either. So, Delk is my new SG, Email shifts to PG. Childs is my 7th man off the bench, behind Posey. ------------------ I'm so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat in me for a month. It appears I underestimated Heath's small line-up. ------------------ "I always thought it was something that went around my house" - World B. Free on Defence
