I just got back from the game, sitting in row 22 straight back from the home plate end of the Astros dugout and you could hear the smack of the ball hitting his head. The lady behind me kept saying she thought she was going to be sick from the sound. The entire crowd was glad to see him get up and walk to the cart on his own.

Aside from that, it was a great game. It was the first game my son and I have gone to together and I caught him a foul ball in the 8th inning.

    This is so the Astros.

Lets start 0-8 and look like we completely suck.
Now let's go on a hot streak and win 7 of 9 to make people think we could possibly be good.

Now I'm half-way believing that we might have a shot at the playoffs.

Our Oswalt/Rodriguez/Meyers is a pretty formidable trio.

    Just can't ever predict baseball.

Meyers vs Morton tomorrow. Should be a sweep.

Then come in the Reds, time for Berkman to get some bombs in and Oswalt for a complete game.

Should be almost .500 or above after this upcoming week.

Went to both last nights game and today was sitting pretty far back today man that line drive was insane I could not see where it hit the poor guy but watching it pretty smoke right to back stop and kick hysterically was frightening to see hopefully he turns out to be alright. In other news great two games need to win again tomorrow and keep this up baseball could be fun again in Houston!

Why even use that one period?

That would have been the greatest run-on sentence of all-time... of all-time!

You must come from the Dave Clark school of thought. Just keep on running... no need to stop.

Let's hope the Astros management don't think like this. Our little streak is fool's gold to say the least.

That said, I'm salivating at the prospect of what Oswalt/Myers/Wandy can bring in before the trade deadline. If Wade plays his cards right, we could seriously jumpstart our rebuilding process if we get the right prospects.

Oswalt and Wandy aren't going anywhere.

Don't buy into them being a playoff team...but don't buy into them having the first pick in the draft. Not too high with the highs and not too low with the lows.

Sorry for the play by play, but damn, that was an awesome play by Bourne.

    #1 HR of the year!

Hunter just threw another bat into the stands! Has he been hanging out with Cato?!

Who gets to keep it? It looked like that fat kid got lucky and landed close to him.

looked like they were trying to figure that out...since it hit the old people.

Probably trading it out with another bat from the stros.
