I don't think Capps has any right to talk trash. How about being an actual pitcher first Capps?

I'm interested in knowing what triggered Capps to act like that. I didn't see anything we did.

Maybe he's on the juice and just got all worked up after giving up the dinger.

    I'm thinking it's just because he's a lard ass.

Hi, I'm Matt Capps and I high five like a girl. I'm also a Pittsburgh Pirate and a douchebag.

According to Cooper, Capps misinterpreted Tejada's reaction to popping out, thinking it was directed toward him, then proceeded to go into douche mode.

He was probably already feeling like a douche for giving up a HR to the first batter he faced after Maholm once again shut down our offense.

Capps sucks. Don't let it get to ya.

    Congrats on the series win.

P.S. You guys may have won the series and beat Ohlendorf [barely] when I said you wouldn't, but.....man, Maholm really has your number! :)

Ohlendorf pitched extremely well - more than good enough to win on most nights. It was very unlike the Astros offense to get so much scoring out of so few hits. Shoot, any team will rarely produce 4 runs on 4 hits.

Maholm owns us regularly. It's like Jenkins on Myers. :D

I'm not looking to trash talk anybody but Capps apparently acted a fool and deserved it.

Apparently, Cooper's story in the postgame was inaccurate.

Capps wasn't trash-talking because of Tejada's reaction to popping out. He was accusing Tejada and Cruz of stealing signs.
