At least you have the Steelers and the Pens. I'm a Titans fan so my Astros are just trying to even the score with Pitt this week. :D

My wife's family is from St. Louis and are Cards fans. Its awful, especially considering they won that WS recently and would be my pick to win this year.

Valverde has been in lockdown mode for a while. He's got a payday coming. Hopefully they offer him arbitration.

And talk about maximizing your hits and baserunners. Make no mistake, Ohlendorf pitched a terrific game. He was unhittable for the most part.

Ol' Moehler's been a pretty consistent #5 for us this year.

    Oswalt
    Wandy
    Wolf
    Norris
    Moles/Bazardo/Trindad/Perez

Il take that in a heartbeat! Make it happen Wade...

Rather have a good rotation and a crappy offense with great defense then crappy offense with crappy D.

    Bourn
    Kaz/Masonet
    Puma
    Lee
    Pence
    Castro/Tejada
    Johnson/Castro
    Manzella

Is fine by me but there will be alot of 3-2 or 4-3 games.

Tejada is going to play catcher?

Castro is going to play third?

I would like the Astros to have a couple of games in September where Manzella plays short and Tejada plays third. They can get a flavor of whether Manzella is ready for prime time and whether Tejada can play 3B.

I'm sure he means that if we resign Tejada, then he will move to 3rd, and Manzella will play SS. The other choice is that we go with Chris Johnson next year and don't resign Tejada. He thinks Tejada should hit in front of Castro, but Castro should hit in front of Johnson.

No run support for Paulino again. This is beyond ridiculous.

So the Astros are thinking of making Wes Wright a starter...

    :D

Along the lines of what I was thinking but we'll see.

They say he'll try to add a changeup in winter ball. I don't see this being a success but you never know. Maybe if we had Dave Duncan in the mix.

At least Paulino and Norris are pitching well of late. Could we ground into any more ****ing double plays?

Tejada up with Lee on 1st.

Edit: Manzella pinch running. Still... Capps will try to tempt Miggy with borderline pitches.

I blame Tejada for Pence's double play in the 7th. His energy field zapped Pence's ability to hit properly.
