Talk about the series with the Bucs.

    Pitching Probables:

    5-5 -- Bensen (3-3, 2.90) vs. Miller (0-3, 6.70)

5-6 -- Wells (1-1, 2.82) vs. Saarloos (First start of the season)

    5-7 -- Torres (2-0, 2.59) vs. Linebrink (0-1, 4.15)

    5-8 -- Suppan(4-2, 2.06) vs. Redding (3-2, 3.34)

My Fearless Prediction: Derek Bell will not be in the lineup for the Pirates although he may show up in the Crawford Boxes with a bag of peanuts.

Does Bell even play for the Pirates any more? I thought he went on through with "Operation Shutdown". ;)

Yeah I think he did. That is why it is a "Fearless Prediction" :). I still crack up every time I think about what JD said about Bell. "Derek Bell is the perfect Pirate. He lives on a boat and takes money for doing nothing."

PNC Park looks amazing on TV. I haven't been there yet, but the way the skyline is framed in rightfield is great.

Seeing as how the Cards have reeled off seven in a row...would it be too much to ask to sweep the Bucs this week? If Miller doesn't get his first win tonight.....and gets shelled...is it too early to worry about him?

Wow - all four Pirate starters have ERA's under 3. I wonder why they don't have a better record? They must not have much of an offense.

True but we won 3 straight. That is a consolation I'll just have to live with.

All these games are winable, but I'm the most scared about Wednesday night because Linebrink has no business starting. Although, I was at his last start on Friday and we won so who knows? I'll be at the game Tuesday night for dollar dog night. :D

Did that just happen? A perfect inning for Wade Miller?

Woohoo. 1-0 Houston after a Blum bomb.

Ohmygosh...anyone listening to this? Milo just did a cat impression. "Meadow, meadow"

Why does he leave for a couple of innings every game?
