I would call the Blue Jays and see atleast, Questions is....if they ask for Pence, Castro, Norris and say Seaton would you do it?
Roy Halladay - 6 ft 6 230 lbs Age- 32 W-L 10-3 106K ERA - 2.35 http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/6134
I would do it but I don't think it'll happen. I think the Jays could get more than that from some other team. The only way we could get Halladay is if other teams choose not to give up their superior assets. We can't outbid other teams because we simply don't have the assets to do so.
Crazy game going on in Milwaukee. The brewers had a 6-5 lead going into the 9th. It's now 12-6, Dodgers, in the bottom of the 10th but the Brewers have the bases loaded with no outs.
I've only followed the Stros since '02 when I moved to Houston. Been a Tribe fan all my life. So I would have to look up the details of the trade. How did it go down?
if that happened, i could see us getting sheets in the offseason too. gotta go for it all while it's there. maybe i'm dreaming.
finally back to .500 ... Need to win these next 2 to get that momentum going before the killer stretch
Brewers lost... whacky finish to the game. I hear Kemp made a Willie Mays type catch. People were freaking out on the CBS game blog. I'll have to check it out to see if was all that or just hype.
Well we werent even meantioned in the discussion to get Randy but literally in the last seconds Hunsicker swooped in and made a, at that time, low ball offer to get him and shock the world. Now Garcia and Guillen turned out to be All-Stars but now one expected it at the time.

Jonathan Sanchez was 5 outs away from a perfect game before an Uribe error. The no-hitter is still in play with 3 outs to go. I don't know anything about him but imagine if this kid turns into something special on top of Lincecum and Cain... His career numbers don't look good but he's still fairly young. I remember hearing some good things about him early last season.
Randy Johnson from the Mariners to the Astros for Freddy Garcia, Carlos Guillen, and John Halama. Not the greatest trade cause Garcia and Guillen had solid careers and Randy left after the year but hindsight is 20/20 and what Randy did for us in '98 after the trade was absolutely remarkable, 10-1 with a 1.20 ERA or so
Yeah, and maybe LA or SA should go for Yao next offseason, too. This just in: Sheets gets paid to spend seasons on the DL.
