Bagwell's introduction was rough. I've been watching him since I was 13, it's going to be so weird not having him in the lineup. :(

Now I am freaking pissed!!!! Pay $160 for MLB Extra Innings just so they can show the Astros game on the same channel as the Mariners game (which started only 2 hours ago) .. Guess I'm stuck missing the beginning of the f'n game until the other stupid game is over!!

They don't havea an alternate channel that they might be showing it on?

No I called and complained and they basically said, "sorry". Apparently the NHL premium package and the MLB package share channels and the NHL is more important than MLB to them.

I guess this is what I get for having digital cable instead of satellite.

You're really not missing anything. The highlight of the game so far has been the interview with that American Idol dude. (Yes, the game is that boring.)

Roy looks great, but the D-Train has a no-no thru 4.

Nothing hard hot off of him at all.

The Astros potent offense strikes again.

Thanks to the Marlins SLOPPY (& I do mean sloppy) D, Willis has already thrown 95 pitches, & it's only the 5th!

His no-no will have to be a team effort.

Not to be negative on opening day, but I just hope the Stros don't give Roy the Clemens treatment which = no run support.

Man these guys are pitching some filthy stuff. I hope FSN will show a recap later tonight so I can get to see it all.

Six innings, 4 hits, 6 strikeouts, no runs. That's nasty. And it's still not as good as a no-hitter through five.

I wish the Astros could somehow acquire Willis. When is the next fire sale in Florida?

They might have another one before they move the entire outfit to San Antonio.

Now that Yahoo finally updated I see why you left such a simple post. A run is a run I guess. I guess I'll head home from work and see if they can make that run hold up.

That doesn't look much like a no no.

Looks more like a 1-0 Astros lead.
