Yordan or not, the Astros need to treat this 3 game series like the WC round and hammer these fools out of the playoff picture.

    If he’s out it’s over.

It’s like if the yankees lost judge for the postseason. They would be done.

Except Judge disappears in the post season so that's not an accurate statement. They might as well be playing without him.

This team played very well without Tucker and he's a better all around player than Yordan.

But to be clear, I"m not saying we're a better team without Yordan... that'd be a horrible take.

They’ve won a lot of games without Tucker this season. Tucker has been a better hitter than Yordan this year.

Judge and Soto pretty much are the Yankees. Tucker, Bregman, Altuve and Yainer is still pretty solid. We won the WS in 2022 with Altuve being complete ass the entire playoffs.

Losing Yordan makes the room for error a lot smaller (guys like Altuve can’t struggle to that extent again), but this team can absolutely win with the way Framber, Hunter and Kikuchi have been pitching.

Oh and the Braves beat us without Acuna and Eddie Rosario and Jorge Soler leading the way…

They might beat Detroit or Minnesota without Yordan, but I don’t see them getting past the ALDS with him.

Yeah I just don’t see it. If Yordan is out we aren’t advancing. Sure it could happen but very slim chance. Yordan is special.

Tucker needs to stop sucking in the postseason -- he's been worse than Judge.

Let's just hope Yordan is healthy enough to perform.... maybe Tucker performs too.

Also, judge sucking in the playoffs is probably why they haven't advanced further. Just like if he was injured and missing the games.

we can certainly lose in the postseason with Yordan, but I’m not sure we can win without him.

Fairly standard to let inflammation subside some before getting MRI’s hence why it’s scheduled for tomorrow… but not a great sign that he had that much inflammation or soreness in the first place.

But barring anything short of a full tear in any of the ligaments, I’d expect him to be available for hitting (with very little running ability). Not sure any of that would be worth it though.

We will see. The AL isn’t great. Orioles, Royals, Twins have been absolute dog water. Yankees are very beatable.

I would guess no news is not good news in this situation.

I think there were twitter posts saying the MRI was today at 3pm CST. The tomorrow was from a quote from last night.

Yordan out minimum 2 weeks I would assume...even if no structural issues.

The right handed Framber strikes again with a DP.
