Just quit, please. I love the Astros and I watch win or lose.

So, yes, I do want a link and for you to take your whiny a** back to the old Cleveland Stadium.

no they aren't. they have taken NO active measures to "accept being bad for a couple years". that requires trading to acquire youth and prospects. they offered valverde arbitration, then lucked out that he declined and signed with the tigers.

just because we are terrible and trot a bunch of garbage out onto the field doesn't mean they are choosing #2. awful signings like lyon, feliz, extending moehler, and never attempting to deal lee, oswalt, or berkman indicates the exact opposite.

we have a clueless owner who doesn't understand baseball and is incapable of handling their current state. will be interesting to see what happens if we keep losing early on and the seats remain empty. my guess is that he sells the team during the season.

Is it me or does San Francisco almost always just kick the living crap out of the Astros every season? I think I remember one season where we beat them up pretty good. But, most of my memories are just getting the crap kicked out of us most games by them.

Used to be San Diego and then Colorado. I remember years where we couldn't compete when we had to play @ Jack Murphy. Then we couldn't beat an expansion Rockies team for years.

You can continue to be Drayton's sucker, but he doesn't give a damn about you or any of the fans. Go ahead, watch em go 0-162

Myers is what he is: a cheap, slightly below average innings eater if he can stay healthy. I don't blame Wade for trying to bring in SOME kind of depth.

I'll tell you...I admire the fan that can watch 162 games of this. I'm having a hard time just following the Yahoo! scoreboard...and it auto-refreshes.

Ooooohhhh you got me there... I'm a sucker for wanting to watch the team I've been following for 30 years.

So then I can expect we'll see less of you here...seeing as though you currently have 5 more posts in this thread than anyone else?

Dam the Giants have a really good staff and our offense is really bad, not a good combination. 12 straight scoreless frames....

Well said. At this point we are reduced to hoping he sells the team, because there's no evidence he "gets it."
