Wow, what a crazy game over at Fenway. Boston scored 10 in the 1st, but now trail 15-14 to the Rangers!

What's even more amazing... David Ortiz hit two 3-run homers in the same inning to do it. Think about how hard it would be to have two homers in an inning, period... then to have two on base, both times?!? Ridiculous.

So Lincecum is gone and we have 4 innings to get something out of the Giants' bullpen. I'd expect us to score at least 2 more runs in this game.

The look on Sox fans' faces is priceless. I watched most of the 1st inning then just saw the Rangers take the lead in the top of the 6th. Sox fans are trying to make excuses online but the reality is the Rangers offense is sick. The lineup they put out there tonight is just ridiculous. With Bradley and Laird back, Byrd on a tear and this Davis kid tearing the cover off the ball, there is no easy innings for the opposing pitchers. Sox fans can't lay it on Zink either. He's only responsible for 8 of the runs. A trio of vets are responsible for the rest.

Win or lose, the Rangers' offense dropped some jaws tonight.

If the Brewers weren't so hot the Astros would be climbing back into this thing. Oh well at least they are finally winning.

Sucks that the Astros have won 9/11 going on 10/12 and have made up virtually no ground n the wild car standings. I agree with the poster above, atleast they are winning.

on the bright side, they would be 15+ games out now if they had not gotten hot.

At least they are making things somewhat interesting.

I have no expectation of playoffs..and really didn't at the beginning of the season. I'm just happy they're playing well on a day to day basis. Makes going to MMP to watch A GAME much more fun.

Also, they're not going to lose 100 games. ;)

They could still go 2-41 to close out the season....
