That's cool, if they want to throw at Clemens get ready for retaliation. That's baseball.

Exactly. Had Bonds done something in that game or the game prior (and from my knowledge, he did not), then sure, you throw at him. This was simply someone knowing that the crowd would be on their side as we were getting embarassed for the second night in a row.

Here's a tip, instead of trying to bean someone, why don't we try to lose a game by less than 10 ****ing runs.

But what provoked throwing at Bonds last night? Nothing.

i think there's history with bonds and springer. he showed up springer once and he's hit him a number of times since then.

and what was even more sad was all the callers were proud about after to blow outs.

Bonds is a cheater and a punk and I'm glad they threw at him. I can almost forgive Springer for being such a terrible pitcher. And I hope they do throw at Biggio, he can take it and I can't think of a better way to try to salvage a game in the series than with our leadoff hitter already on base.

    Look,

Whatever it takes to get these Astros fired up and playing well again. They are simply going through the motions right now.

The 19-9 start is almost wasted, the Giants SUCK as a team and they own MMP, that is unacceptable.

If it takes a beaning to amp up the team, glad it was a jerk like Bonds that got hit.

Screw Bonds, how about that he cheated the game, and has been an arrogant A$$hole forever.

I wish his knee would just give out before he gets to Aaron, I can not stand the thought that someone as classy as Henry Aaron might get his record surpassed by someone as classless as Bonds.

How many times have you personally met Barry Bonds?

Not once, and that does not change a single thing. There has been ample evidence about his demeanor and his attitude and more importantly his cheating for me to form an opinion.

If you want to give the benefit of the doubt, go right ahead, but for me, the guy is guilty and bad for the game.

Sadly, our pitching is so bad that Springer has the 2nd best ERA on the team behind Borkowski.

It is also known that Springer is the captain of the bullpen. I think he did something that all of the pitchers wanted to do, but he's the only one with the guts to do it.

Actually, I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt. My brother in-law and his father have gone to Arizona for Giants spring training for years. They say that Bonds has always been extremely nice to all the fans and has been courteous every time they've had personal contact with him. So, to them, people who have actually met Barry Bonds, unlike you, they say he is not an arrogant *******.

I couldn't care less how he treats the media. Knowing how the media can turn on anyone at the drop of a hat, I don't blame him for being a jerk to them.

Yeah, it takes real guts to throw at a batter that the media and some fans want tarred and feathered.

To throw at Barry Bonds. Yes it does. Very few players like him, but people don't pitch him inside.

How in the world does it take guts to throw at Barry Bonds, a guy who is maligned every single day on sports radio and message boards. Someone who is booed by fans whenever he steps to the plate?

If he did it in San Francisco, that would take guts. It was gutless.

It's one thing to pitch him inside when you're trying to get him out. Springer had one goal in mind and that was to plunk him. Apparently because he can't get over something that didn't even happen this season, much less that game.
