Cash is going on 33 so he ain't no kid.

It sounds like Towles wasn't effective behind the plate more than anything else. Apparently pitchers weren't comfortable working with him or able to get on the same page.

As much as he was struggling offensively, Q and Cash are both worse hitters.

As I mentioned above attendance counts, if Puma can't stay on the field it hurts the team as much if not more then just not hitting. Even when Puma hasn't hit in the past he was always able to get on base and that isn't even happening. He is VITAL to this team performance, even more the Lee, and when he struggles this team struggles. Not making this a Lee vs Puma debate at all, I know Lee is trash right now but simply saying Puma needs to hit and NOW.

Yea, he's been doing it all night. Lots of pressure situations.

He's a battler if nothing else. I like his mound presence. Certainly an upgrade over what we had in the 3rd spot last season, at least so far.

As good as Lincecum has been to start this season, amazingly enough, Zito has been better.

We know that won't last but man, Lincecum, Cain, Zito, Sanchez is a pretty impressive 1-4.

That's the 2nd terrific defensive play by Berkman in this game.

I think he draws a great deal of strength with his goatee strip. That's what I think the scouts like about him as well.

I wanted Harden over Myers but Brett has been everything and then some so far. Good move Wade...

The goatee ain't helpin' Kaz though.

That bunt was hit about as hard as many of Kaz' recent full swings.

Its nice to know that I can reliably change the channel away from the Astros for an hour+ every night and come back and know that I won't have missed them scoring.

SanDimasRule: Carlos Lee is a big fat 0

XSanDimasRules: What a waste of a human

XSanDimasRules: He should be deported. Even if he is american

    Don't shoot the messenger.

Before the game, I guessed that we would score at least 2 runs tonight and that it would be greedy of me to expect 3.

Well, we'll need 3 to avoid the L9.

Over the shoulder grab in deep right center for Bourn.

He hasn't had much luck at the plate tonight but he's always due for a nice play.

    As I say that, UNBELIEVABLE!

    MUST SEE HIGHLIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That'll be on Top 10 plays for sure.

2 great plays in a row by Bourn with the 2nd being among the plays of the year so far probably.

No, I think Kaz is still struggling with his anal tear. It's most unfortunate. :(

I hope that Bourn gets the game-winning hit or run.

You must be hoping that he hits a home-run then.
Because I don't foresee our team being able to actually combine for bourn to get on AND someone get a hit.

I think the whole team should take the Adam Dunn tactic and just swing for the fences at every pitch.
