I honestly think that Hunter has such a herky jerky swinging motion that his hands end up not synching up with his eyes.

That, or he just overswings the bat.

I've noticed this even when he has it going offensively. He ends up topping so many balls, in my opnion, because of this issue.

Haren already has 5 Ks through 2.

    He's feeling it.

Combo of both; part Haren, part our hitters.

Manzella makes some plus defensive plays but he just doesn't seem that sure-handed at the end of the day.

    Q with the passed ball.

This game is almost in the books if Zona can put up a few here.

Yup, tack on another 1 or 2, might be hard to come back.

Blown call just like the one from the 1st game when Bourn threw out Reynolds at home.

Like the Astros really need anything else working against them.

I think I'm gonna buy season tickets tomorrow.

Then give them to my worst enemy.

    This team blows.

    7 Ks for Haren through 3. I guessed he'd get 15 after the 1st.

He'll probably have a bad inning somewhere along the way but we won't be able to take advantage of it. We'll be lucky to get a run off of him.

If we can hold it at 4-0 or make it 4-1, maybe we can get to their shaky bullpen, assuming Haren doesn't throw a CG.

Then again, we've only scored 6 runs in 3.5 games against what has been one of the worst pitching staffs in baseball so far this season.

Haren with the 2B off Wandy. FML.

It wasn't actually if you look at his numbers prior to this season. Last season was obviously his best season, but prior to that he'd posted an era of 3.54 for 2008 and then 4.58 for 2007. Wandy seems to be regressing though along with the entire team this year.
