Well that makes sense. If you had posted since 2009 being an all Chicago fan that would be a little weird
Whatever kind of steal it was he needs to keep his ass on the base until a base hit or wild pitch into the stand occurs. He sucks on the base paths this year.
Yes, we all know. You've mentioned it relentlessly. I suppose he's your whipping boy. I also suppose he shouldn't be so adept at drawing walks to keep him off the basepaths for good...
Another Cubs win and the crowd goes wild. Missed the game yesterday being at the A&M slaughter, I'm assuming the crowd was heavily disappointed in an Astros win.
The only thing he's been consistent at this season is the run support the team provides him in his games.... which he has nothing to do with.
Springer is not immune to criticism just like any other player. His walks and defense have been helpful but his running tool and overall approach to hitting is is not impressive. He shouldn't be given the green light for steals anymore.
Of course he's not immune to criticism... but its a little broken record-ish with you. As far as his approach to hitting... he still gets on base and hits for power better than anybody not named Altuve. He has an identical OPS to Correa, and is largely the reason why Bregman's RBI totals have been as good as they have been. He's far more important to this offense than you've ever given him credit for... probably because you're too blinded by his running? Basically, spread it around... but if you want to harp on every negative facet relentlessly/endlessly, so be it. It does get pretty old though.
