Not if he's on another roster though. These last 2 games may have caught some attention. If not, maybe we hold onto him, pick up his option and trade him before the next deadline or during the offseason. That, or restructure a 2-year deal for lower dollars per then trade him when his stock is higher.
Happens everytime I go off on the guy, I talk crap and he goes nuts. Don't worry the moment we lay off the fool he will give you an 0-5 and strand 4 runners in scoring position.
Exactly. I call him out a few weeks ago and he hits a couple of HRs in a game. I say it looks like he is going to go on one of his tears and he goes hitless for a few games.

And I believe we face less good pitching in the 2nd half of the season which may lead some people to draw false conclusions. There is also randomness. I don't mind having a different voice in our hitters' ears but my guess is that hitting coaches don't make that much of a difference at this level, generally speaking. I would think that a good pitching coach can have more of an influence on pitchers with pitchers often peaking later than hitters.
Superstition is such a weird phenomenon. We all kind of do it on some level or another yet also know that it makes no difference.
Don't look now, but the 'stros are .500 since June 1st. If we go 58-3 between now and October we can still win 100.
