    I can think of only one time where pulling Caballo paid off. It was that game early last year where Erstad threw a guy out at home.

    On the other hand, there have been several games where Lee was unavailable when we needed his bat.

    Yea, I know. Pudge and Miggy are actually both in the top 10 of active hitters when it comes to GIDPs. I was just talking about leading the Stros.

    Bourn gets beat an awful lot on the inside of the plate. That is a clear cut area for improvement.

    impressive performance by fulchino...at quick glance, it looks like he's only given up 1 run in his last 16 and 1/3 innings.

    A few weeks ago I was complaining about him even being with the big club, and then he starts having great outings. I'm glad that I was wrong about him. As many saves as we've blown, it is going to be a hard decision of what do to when Valverde, Brocail, and Geary come back. I think Backe is going to be out of a job.
