HA HA HA HA HA . . . This post is awesome.

The agony for me is evolving into silly delerium after a while. One almost becomes numb to the disappointment and comes to enjoy or even embrace the wreckage.

I bet they are inside, but we have mostly "team" players so I don't think they would make anything of it

Someone (probably should be Roger) should eat his ass out.......and tell him to pull his underwear out of his vagina and play ball.

not to get too far off the subject of how nauseating this game is, but....

doesn't burke have to be approaching, or already has, some random record?

he didnt have his first AB until extras, and he's 3-3.

He pitched to Hickey yesterday. He does so each week. Who else is going to pitch if it goes 17?

If he goes into pitch, where does Borkowski play? The bench is empty.

I wonder whom the Astros passed through waivers. Every year guys are run through waivers that you rarely hear of. It's kind of business as usual. Last year Roger even passed through waivers, IIRC. So, mebbe Lidge has already passed waivers? Lane didn't.

OK either Ausmus needs a hit or Lane needs a hit.

Nevermind ... who is due up for the Cubs in the 16th?

that was the worst hit ball i've ever seen make it through the right side of the infield. was the 1b glued to the baseline?

and they might've been able to get munson at 2nd if they looked. maybe they want this game to end, too.
