Why the heck was Adam Everett hitting 2nd? Ensberg has been absolutely awesome from the 2 spot this year and has speed. Don't you want someone who gets on base a lot to bat ahead of the #3 and 4 hitters? I agree Everett has hit ok this year, but he's still only a .260 hitter. I would rather have Ensberg getting more AB's in a game.

I'd rather have him in the middle of the lineup driving in runs. He's our best clutch hitter, I believe. I'd almost rearrange the lineup like this until Bagwell gets going:

    Biggio
    Blum
    *Berkman
    *Ensberg
    *Hidalgo
    Bagwell
    Everett
    Ausmus
    Pitcher

With the 3 "*"ed people all interchangable.

If Bagwell gets back on track and Kent comes back, I think I would like to see Ensberg back at the 2 spot. He is a good clutch hitter, but his average in that realm has fallen off somewhat of late, which I think is directly related to being in the 6 spot and getting fewer pitches to hit. Honestly, I kind of wish there was a good way to get Blum and Ensberg in the lineup at the same time without having a DH or having Kent on the bench, because I really like Geoff as a 2 hitter and that would leave Morgan to clean up the RBIs.

Jimy let Jeriome go into the 8th with 105 pitches already thrown. How could this be? Oh it's because he earned it. Too bad Robertson blew being able to finish the inning with the questionable HR by Sexson. Now we have to use the overrated BP. Curse you Jimy Williams! Cuuuuurrrrsse you!

Damn, another quality start. We need to trade all of our bullpen for starting pitching because our starters obviously are not cutting it.
