I know Jason Lane gets alot of heat for suckage and Chris Burke has been officially benched for his struggles, but imo Luke Scott is making his late season run in 06 look like a fluke. He's back to 2005 form, and there's no way you can contend starting a RF who is hitting like he is. Mike Lamb is a proven bat, and Berkman split his time between 1B and RF last season. I'd bench Scott, put Berk back in RF and start Lamb at 1st... we need every productive bat that we can get in there. A sub-.200 hitter batting 5th isn't getting the job done.
Berkman is not going back to the outfield. And this team's problems on offense would be less of a problem if the two guys that are supposed to be consistent run producer's actually produced runs.
