    Same top 6 then Brantley, Chas, Maldy is my guess.

    I think we can count on Dubon playing tomorrow and Brantley resting since it’s a LHP.

    Astros could have at minimum alternated Blanco and Bielak among the three pitchers. The offense was full strength (sans Abreu) and Javier and Brown had already been showing signs of wear for nearly a month. France hadn't regressed until a couple weeks ago. There was more to gain and less to lose by skipping some of main guys' starts, and it's surprising management handled the situation as poorly as they have.

    August 2nd & 3rd were 3 and 2 runs vs CLE -- one game being Frambers no-no

    Astros are on franchise record of 20 consecutive games wins by 6+ runs.

    They broke the franchise record of 12 or 13 games (~'71).

    If Maldi has to be the catcher (asinine) for Framber, Verlander, and Javier then this is the only logical line-up against a right-hander. Diaz or McCormick and the fans are going to get screwed for the rest of the season.

    I think the Porter news overwhelmed the servers.

    Given the Maldonado situation, this is a good lineup 2 days in a row. Dusty's old ass is gonna have to find a way to play Diaz more than once every 3 games. I would obviously prefer Maldonado, but if either Brantley or Abreu need to sit the occasional game to make it happen so be it.
