[Official] Athletics @ Astros

Gotta score more runs obviously... I had a feeling things would get tight. Always like this on a Sunday against the Athletics.

 

Only thing missing is a baserunning brain fart... It may come tho!

 

Defense and baserunning are the 2 things that should never slump, but our defense has been horrible for at least a couple of weeks. Was great before.

 

Good thing the Astros would never move Tucker to CF because they value defense so much. Or at least that’s what I keep reading on this board.

 

You can only go by what the Astros say and do. Things can change, but that's what the Astros have said and done so far.

 

CF needs an upgrade somehow by the deadline. Too many flaws at that position.

 

I hate pop ups. They may not be as wimpy as hitting into a double play, but they are still wimpy.

In defense of Meyers, the only guys who make that play routine are Buxton and Siri.

Real problem is that his power is sapped and he still has no plate discipline, even if the umpires hate him.

Why does meyers automatically get to play CF? His skills are more suited for left. There are 2 guys on the roster who are better in CF and Tucker is probably just as good.
