Javier’s release point is so hit or miss right now. The fastball life is there… but then it isn’t. I think we are still a few more starts from seeing our guy again.

Can JV get Javier get a treadmill or something? JV has almost 20 years on him and he’s in tremendous shape. Javier is lucky to go 4 innings before having some heavy laboring of sorts.

 

Did Javier even get to sit down?

Javier is not fooling anyone so far.

 

And fastball not always there.

He’s just completely off. Bad mechanics, bad stamina, dead arm, low confidence…. But does have the ability to get triggered and get white hot as he did last game.

 

Javier needs to go back to the pen for a bit to rest his arm. Need him recover by October.

 

We'll be lucky if we get one more inning from Javy.
