it's on both. terrible throw but salazar had the ball in his hand and dropped it when he went for the tag.

 

Seems 2024 has been opponent advantage, by far.

- squibblers
- seeing-eye
- negative ball-strike calls, overall
- injuries

All those things lead to more Astros pitches.
- more pitches thrown
' more arms necessary to throw them
- more runs surrendered

Regardless, in the end, Astros are *barely* removed -- 2 games behind -- from the playoffs.

A little more health, plus a season that doesn't continue a prorated ‐1000 "luck" the Stros will win 90+ games.

No team their right mind wants to face Houston in the playoffs.
