Six inches of rain there last 24 hours. My phone says no chance of rain til 2pm. Game one could start. Make it quick Framber.
Buddy's is the place to go for pizza in Detroit. Little Caesar's was birthed there and that's what they sell in the park
I saw waves expected at 3 and 8pm today. https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/mi/detroit Both games expected to be interrupted by rain delay. That being said, it may take till midnight to finish them. Hope our guys got a good nights sleep.
I’m worried about injuries with all the expected start and stoppage. Wouldn’t mind trotting out our B team towards the end of game 1 and starting game 2
We finally get a line-up I like and it gets rained out. Every position player get's a start today. Framber in a seven inning game... I say Astros Pitchers TOP under an hour. Advantage Houston - Our pitchers are used to long waits between innings while the Offense is rolling.
We're out here wanting them to play while the people of Detroit are suffering. Where's the compassion. We've been there before. So award the Astros the 3 wins so we don't have to stress the workers of that ballpark.
We really only need to get one game in today. They can always push the doubleheader to tomorrow. If both games get washed out today it could create issues, but likely the game wouldn't be played at all unless we absolutely have to after 161.

The lineup is great with or without Baker. Though, Baker can still cost a few runs over a season by having suboptimal lineups (I'm not talking about rest days) regardless of how great the hitters are. Today's 1st lineup is fine.
Games only 7 innings from what I've seen. Is that new or am I just stupid and don't remember the 7 inning thing?
We will never know what will happen on a given day. We can know if a lineup has better odds than another arrangement to scoring more runs. Over the long haul, having a great hitter bat 6th or 7th while a below average hitter hits 1st or 2nd will likely cost runs over the long haul. (Though not too many). This isn't the case today.
It's COVID cancelled game protocall that they have just extended for all make-up Double Headers. I was wondering how they would handle non-COVID make-up games. Now we know.
