I would take ANY replacement for hitting coach at this point.

 

I've got us going 76-86.

The pitching will wobble at some point. Heaven help us then.

 

Hitting coaches are just there for looks. They don't really have anything to do with hitting and thus should never be fired. Or even criticized. They don't do anything.

Yeah if you even mention possibly holding the hitting coaches just slightly accountable for all these unacceptable, putrid at bats, you’re just not really a baseball guy.

I know several on here still love Jake Meyers, but dude is NOT a hitter and isn't going to be one. That was ok when it was Altuve, Bregman, Yordan, Tucker, Yainer.....dis a different team tho, Jake and Dubon just can't play so much
